Following in the footsteps of his Stepdad Phil, our Director Craig Gornall has over 38 years in the transport industry from managing warehouse and distribution operations to managing Independent and main dealer workshops for over 20 years.
Trucks have been a lifelong passion from being a child going out in his stepdads lorry on school holidays back in the day along with watching his favourite TV show in 1979 – BJ and the Bear with his Stepdad Phil.
Craig has a wealth of knowledge managing large and small fleet transport operations such as managing the maintenance and vehicle compliance of fleet operations such as the national B&Q fleet operation to vehicle compliance management of fleet operations with Argos, Wincanton, DHL plus many more companies over his career in the transport industry.
Overseeing fleet operations so vehicles and trailers are maintained to the highest standard along with managing onsite DVSA ATF authorised testing facilities, making sure transport operators achieve 100.00% MOT pass rate.
From leaving school Craig attended his local colleges to achieve qualifications in transport and warehouse distribution as well as training and qualifying as an HGV technician. His transport history includes membership to the industry recognised IRTE SOEs specialist sector for road transport engineers along with Craig’s recognised achievements in the transport industry by the
Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport, CMILT.
